Each year the SNAP Conference gets better. The event is healing, consoling, informational and fun! For many survivors it opens new perspectives that become life-changing. It is a chance to connect with survivors from around the world and share experiences. Hundreds of folks attend and everyone is welcome, including survivors, family members, supporters, concerned Catholics, therapists, and educators. The Conference will include guest speakers, workshops, small group discussions and many chances to share s tori es and ask questions.
Conference speakers will include Fr. Thomas Doyle, Law Professor Marci Hamilton, investigative reporter Jason Berry, author Martin Moran and others TBA. The weekend will also include screenings of two renowned documentaries, "Twist of Faith" and "Holy Watergate."
group leaders (spokespersons and support group coordinators) will meet
on Friday, June 10 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. The full SNAP conference
for ALL members begins Friday evening at 7:00 and goes through noon
The hotel sits on the Chicago River and is within walking distance of the magnificent mile, restaurants and shopping. Chicago is an easy destination, with cheap flights into two major airports and within easy driving distance from many Midwestern cities.
