Did you know that a report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds? Or that “1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have been victims of [some form of] physical violence by an intimate partner within their lifetime”?
These statistics are astounding to think about, especially when you consider that victims often feel they must conceal the abuse. And what about the elderly and disabled? The statistics of abuse with those victims is equally grim.
The question is, what do we do? How do we fight this? How can we help those who are being physically and emotionally mistreated, and how do we help them heal? Dealing with this insidious problem requires a multi-pronged attack on many fronts, including awareness, discussion, law enactment, and education.

Please join in our effort to convince Washington state legislators that our children are truly our most precious resources and are entitled to every protection we can give them against child molestation. We seek to eliminate the criminal statutes of limitation that now apply to the sexual molestation of children under the age of 18.
