The Governing Body Are Criminals and I Can Prove It
The above statement has been a struggle to prove legally for over twenty years. When I assisted the first victims of their horrendous policy of requiring two-eye witnesses before an allegation of a child being abused could be believed, to seek legal assistance, I had one requirement. The Governing Body should be held accountable, put on camera to defend their child abuse policies as well as sued and eventually led away in handcuffs. Jeff Anderson was an attorney in ST Paul Minnesota who had won over 600 lawsuits against the Catholic Church. Mr. Anderson had deep pockets and a passion for defending abuse survivors.
Governing Body above the law
In May of 2001 I brought Mr. Anderson ten victims of JW policies and we initiated the first lawsuits against the organization. The one requirement was to get to a place where we could deposition GB members to make the incriminate themselves. Why?
They were the authors of this policy and they continue, to this day, to support and keep it enforced. In 1992 the Awake writing Department presented a fifty page report to the GB explaining that there was rampant abuse going on within the organization. That report made three suggestions;
1. Report all allegations of abuse to police immediately.
2. Never appoint abusers to any position of responsibility.
3. Never allow child molesters to go door to door.
The GB threw those suggestions into the trash and waited and waited, as kids were being raped. Finally in 1995 they pretended to address the issues by stating, molesters would not have positions of authority. This was covered with members in a paragraph of a Watchtower Study. At the same time child molesters were encouraged in the same article to attend door to door work to prove their repentance. Then secretly in 1997 they sent a letter out to all Bodies of Elders requiring them to classify their appointed pedophiles and offer them, in many cases, “amnesty” and well as anonymity within the organization. Who ordered this to happen? The Governing Body as they self proclaim themselves to be the mouth of God on earth who operate without question.
I was an elder when this letter was received. Three years later I filed a fifteen page report on an elder that was serving in my congregation. What was the response? To remove him as an elder because it was established he lied to his original judicial committee, to not inform his wife of his proclivities, and to inform JWorg when we planned to use him again. Six months to the day he was offering parts on the Service Meeting and being asked to read before the congregation. He lied to the congregation and told them he was tired and just needed a break as an elder to explain away his removal. We were informed if we told anyone we would be subject to disciplinary actions. That was when I resigned as an elder and no longer wished to be part of the corruption instigated by the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Legally the GB states they only address Bible reading and have nothing to do with policies of the organization. This was stated by GB member Geoffrey Jackson before the Australian Royal Commission on Camera. On that day he lied about many things and claimed he was not even inspired of God, even though it is clearly stated in their literature. The GB have systemically tried to distance themselves legally from every single lawsuit saying the “Service Department” not them sets forth policy. That is a misrepresentation of fact that I can bear witness to, as being a false statement.
I served as Presiding overseer in an Arkansas congregation. This particular congregation was a place that was fraught with many problems and difficulties. I was an Elder there from 1987-1992 and we had an avalanche of judicial committees that ranged from theft, to immorality, fraud, and many deviant practices. I estimate that I sat close to one hundred committees dealing with many complicated matters. In the course of dealing with these matters, it was brought to my attention by the Service Department that all their rules and regulations are set forth in a book of policy approved by the Governing Body. If at any point an especially complicated matter is discovered that is not in the book, then the local committee writes a report to the GB in care of Service Department, they in turn send it on to the Governing Body who discuss it and then make a ruling that is passed down to be sent back to the local congregation. As an Elder serving in my Arkansas Congregation we had three of those cases arise.
What do I mean? Let me explain one of the cases. A pioneer Elder lived in a trailer with his wife. Next door lived a single pioneer sister in a trailer as well. At night the Elder would say he was taking a walk when in reality he was a peeping tom. The pioneer sister had aluminum foil in all her windows for privacy but he found a little hole that he would watch on a regular basis. What was the issue? Was this a disciplinary matter to simply remove him as pioneer and Elder? Or was it a judicial matter to determine if he should be disfellowshipped? There was nothing written in the publications that defined this matter. When we called the Service Department they had nothing in their books to know the answer as well. There was one obscure WT article that stated peeping Tomism was bad but not listed as a judicial offense.
So what happened?
The Service Department asked us to write up a complete report of the case addressed to the Gb through the Service Department, it would be submitted to the Governing Body for review and they would make a ruling. When I asked how would we know it was from the GB they stated it would be a “windowed” envelope. The “windowed” envelope meant the Gb correspondence was providing a direct answer to us and it would also be added to the Service Department rules and regulations book.
What did the letter state?
The GB made the determination that peeping tomism was in fact a judicial matter. The answer came fairly quickly as were were paralyzed from taking any action until we knew if it was judicial or not. In the end we Df’d the Elder as it had been multiple occasions. Hard to find repentance with the rules we were given.
To explain further, normal correspondence from the Service was always just a plain envelope with Watchtower logo, so when this came in the mail it was like the word of Jehovah being delivered directly to us. It was very special. As an Elder I actually sat on three such cases that involved direct correspondence in a “windowed” envelope. I am an eye witness that the Governing Body do far more that just read the Bible. They establish and approve all policies and directives given through the Service Department. When something weird occurs, they decide what must happen.
So when the lawyers for JWorg fight so hard to keep the GB off the lawsuits, why do they do this? The GB want freedom to call the shots but when they have to face responsibility for their decisions they hide behind all the departments and legal corporations to avoid prosecution criminally and civilly. It is as simple as that.
Can this be proven?
I have a case that was started twenty years ago in which a sister was advised to write the Governing Body to get their direction in which her daughter had been molested. The letter was delivered to the GB and they responded through the Service Department in a “windowed’ envelope. I have the letters in hand along with the responses. In this instance, we have the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses responding to a victims mother and stating their policies.
So I ask you the reader.... Who should be responsible for the organizations crimes against children? Was it wayward Elders? Bad Service Department advice? Bad Circuit Overseers or District Overseers?

They should be hammered with lawsuits to infinity. Forced to stand before cameras in depositions. Required to respond to their members why they continue their crimes against children. Compelled to stand before judges and explain their calloused disregard for the welfare of children. Arrested and sent away for long prison sentences.
These are not stupid men, these are not ignorant men, these are not powerless men, these are not weak men.
They are criminals hiding out in a multi-billion dollar religion in their compounds and they think they are untouchable.
I want to touch them, expose them, shame them, gut them of their righteousness.
They have continued the ‘pedophile paradise’ without remorse or guilt.
I am looking for attorneys with deep pockets and a sense of justice as well as a visceral hatred of people that hurt kids.
