USA BrotherConfesses after two eye-witnesses
“Two eye-Witnesses” allows the rape of the second child
The news article below once again provides evidence of how the “two eye witness” principle works with Jehovah’s Witnesses. When a child molester is accused and denies the charge he remains an innocent man in the view of the congregation. Only when a second child is molested and in a current time frame, then can the elders proceed to take actions against him. In this story the perpetrator turned him self in and this no doubt was at the direction of the local elders. If the confidential files of the congregation were accessed there would be a strong possibility that the first victim was silenced and thus had to wait till the second child was molested. The confidential files in each congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses contains the record of thousands of cases of silenced children that have been molested and never reported to police due to waiting for a second eye witness to come forward.
Therefore silentlambs suggests that the confidential files of each Jehovah’s Witness congregation be opened and turned over to police for prosecution of pedophiles. To authorities one eye witness is enough to take action and at least proceed with a proper professional investigation of the crime of child rape. To Jehovah’s Witness elders a raped child is just a silent lamb that needs to wait till another child suffers the same fate.

Man Who Confessed to Molesting Children Goes to Court Today

http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=641356 Update: Court Officials tell KSL the hearing is not scheduled for today.
A Southern Utah jail served as a confessional for a man who says he molested two girls. Today that man appears in court for a preliminary hearing. Investigators in Washington County say this case is unusual. Police have heard confessions over property crimes, but they typically don't hear confessions of something this serious. Nestor Cabada walked into the Washington County jail and started confessing that he sexually abused two girls over the last three years. The man was remorseful, crying, and spilling details so quickly that a lieutenant had to cut him off to read him his Miranda rights. Investigators say they have confirmed Cabada's story with victims in Hurricane and Washington City. Cabada has been booked into the Purgatory correctional facility. Cabada turned himself in when a clergyman from the Jehovah's Witness church urged him to go to police and "Get right with God." He made the confession to Lt. Jake Adams, as reported in the Deseret Morning News, "He made reference to being worried about his eternal soul for what he had done. I don't know if he wanted to get help for himself. I get the sense he wanted his victims to have access to help." The lieutenant says what Cabada did was noble and courageous. And as far as justice is concerned, he should get what he deserves.
Nester Cabada is charged with 13 counts of rape, sodomy and aggravated sex abuse of a child.

SALT LAKE CITY -- A man who walked into a southern Utah jail to confess he had sexually abused two girls was put behind bars and faces more than a dozen felony charges.
Authorities said they corroborated the allegations with victims in Hurricane and Washington city. Deputies say Nestor Cabada walked into the lobby of the Washington County jail on Tuesday asking to speak to someone in authority.
Lt. Jake Adams, who speaks Spanish, took aside the man, who said a Jehovah's Witness clergyman had urged him "get right with God."
Cabada began confessing so quickly, Adams had to cut him off to read his Miranda rights. "Then we started over," the lieutenant said.
"He made reference to being worried about his eternal soul for what he had done. I don't know if he wanted to get help for himself. I get the sense he wanted his victims to have access to help," Adams said. "He wanted to make things better generally."
Cabada was jailed in lieu of $280,000 bail and formally charged in court Wednesday on 13 felony counts of rape of a child, sodomy on a child and aggravated sex abuse of a child.
A public defender entered not-guilty pleas on his behalf, and Cabada is due to appear in court today for a preliminary hearing.
"I think it's noble and courageous what he did," Adams said. "I think that whatever he gets as far as justice is what he deserves."

HURRICANE - Police have arrested a man who walked into Purgatory Correctional Facility and allegedly confessed to sexually abusing children.
Nestor Jesus Cabada, 37, allegedly walked into Purgatory and told authorities he had sexually abused two children over a period of three years, according to a press release by Washington City Police Chief Jim Keith.
Washington City police were notified when Cabada allegedly confessed because the events were said to have taken place in Washington City, where Cabada was a resident.
Keith said the department would like to refrain from disclosing any information about Cabada's alleged victims, including his relationship with them.
Lt. Jake Adams, with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, said Cabada claimed he was "devastated and miserable" during his interview. Adams said Cabada, a Jehovah's Witness, was urged to come forth from someone at his church.
Cabada was charged with 10 counts of sodomy of a child and four counts of aggravated sexual abuse. He was booked into Purgatory on $280,000 bail.
